Sunday sketch Koi Fish


Hi everyone this weeks Sunday sketch is a Koi fish, I'm working on a new painting, which is Japanese inspired, I'm going to cut this one out and stick it on to the canvas then paint it!

Hi Friend, This is just stunning! I love the scales and all the details - I think it might be my favorite sketch of yours yet! Thank you too for the idea to shoot outside - it is so hard to capture the sparkle from the crystals while at the same time not washing out the piece - I will try your suggestion :) Kristin xo
