Illustration Friday - Perspective

Dorothy has a long journey ahead of her on the yellow brick road.......

I didn't get to finish my piece for last weeks Illustration Friday but I have created a canvas which i'm putting the finishing touches to, I shall post it up when it's done. Very tired today due to my 3 year old keeping me up half the night. Both my boys seem to have suffered from night terrors at one time or another poor little things. Hopefully tonight he'll have some sweet dreams.....

This is adorable Nicola, love that yellow brick road! I hope your little guys find some peace soon, that's a tough phase to go through - for all of you!

The Wizard of Oz is probably THE most imaginative movie I had ever seen as a child! I remember sitting in front of the TV in awe and refusing to take my eyes off the screen even though it was like, what, 2 hours long??? I'm so glad you did this for IF, Nicola, the sky is strikingly beautiful!! (^_^)

I adore this! The Wiz of Oz is my favorite, it is what started my artistic adventure, with its sepia tones turning into color. I never lost the wonder of that and have worked all my professional career to capture those colors. This is superb, my dear! Bravo!

Oh I love the Wizard of Oz. Very cute! To answer your question in your comment on my blog; I don't have an Etsy shop. I have thought about getting one though. I think the tissue paper texture is very fun to do as well ^_^
