Paint Party Friday - Sorrow

Hi guys, well we are at the end of week 1 of our renovations and we have survived so far. I even managed to work on this piece whilst house sitting. Unfortunetly we don't have access to a scanner at the moment so I"m going to have to take photos of my pieces for the time being.

'Sorrow' is another one of my ladies. I wanted to create some emotion with this lady. And I think I was feeling a little down myself this week, out of sorts with everything going on but also a bit sad as my parents have jetted off to Wales to go to my big brothers wedding and unfortunetly we've just got so much going on at the moment that I can't go. :0( Ah well thems the breaks I suppose I did get to see him last year when we went for our big trip and he made it over here for our mums 60th so I'm glad about that.

Hope you're all having a great week!

You did a great job in conveying her (your) sadness....

I'm sure they'll miss you.

I feel sad looking at her...I hope you are feeling a bit more 'up' today and that the builders are doing more than just drinking tea!!

I really like her hair on this one and how it swoops across the two pages. :) Happy PPF!

She's beautiful. She doesn't look sad to me, but I am glad you have an outlet for all the upheaval going on around you right now.

Isn't she beautiful! That's one great thing about being an artist. We can be sad but use that to create beautiful things :) Hope you're feeling a bit better.

If you happen to be renovating then it's no wonder you're down... That is hellish if I do say so myself! We need to finish the tile part of our floors after having hardwood laid two springs ago! Unfortunately I just keep putting it off, because it's so darn stressful!! Not to mention missing your brothers wedding....feel better and do something nice for yourself this week!! Happy ppf!

Hugs Giggles
