Sunday sketch and my first spread in the 'Sistahood of the travelling sketchbook'

Hi everyone here is my very first spread in my Sistahood of the travelling sketchbook. The opening spread on our books are to be about us perhaps using our favourite colours, subject matter, materials etc. Then we'll post this off to the next person and then next month we start doing the calendar months and what they mean to us.

I chose a colour combination that I seem to be drawn to alot. Warm orangey colours and blue. I just love how they look together and often seem to use them in my work. I chose to draw a whimsical style picture with butterflies and flowers as they seem to pop up in my work alot also :0) I hope I'm on the right track with this :0)

Beautiful! I'm jealous of your traveling sketchbook project. I think it would be such fun. But then, I'd probably be nervous about sketching in someone else's book, LOL. It's off to a great start!
